The Garmin Signal VHF 220 is the mid-range model in the Signal series, sharing the same 3.5" colour touchscreen with edge-to-edge glass, compact form factor and advanced communication features as the VHF 400. The key distinction is the AIS capability: the VHF 220 includes a built-in AIS receiver (receive only), displaying range, course, speed and crossing situation of AIS-equipped vessels on screen but not transmitting your own vessel data to others. All other Signal series features are included: Class D DSC distress calling, integrated GPS, machine-learning noise cancellation, background channel scanning, VHF audio playback for up to 3 minutes, NMEA 2000 and Garmin BlueNet integration, and support for the Garmin Signal RM 100 remote station. 12V and 24V compatible.
